Job Summary:

Our ideal sales director has in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at relationship building, and closing deals. We’re seeking a director with strong negotiating skills, and someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others. The role demands a leader with an ability to create and maintain a high-performance sales force with a high technical company. The ability to conduct sales analysis to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. This person will oversee the national sales team, prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services. Ability to handle reviews, hiring, maintaining and training of national sales team. Collaborate with marketing department, inner company departments and execs to achieve better results

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a high-performing, hands on Sales Director. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

  • Including:

  • Ability to identify candidates internally or externally, developing and maintaining strong reseller/channel partner network

  • Owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts nationally

  • Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships

  • Sales director responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Sales director duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends

  • Responsibilities:

    •  Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base

    •  Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives

    •  Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

    •  Understand category-specific landscapes and trends

    •  Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets

  • Knowledge of electric car industry would be considered a plus

  •  5+ years of previous experience as a Sales director and/or Sales Executive

  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services

  • Proven ability to position products against competitors

  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skill

  • Superb leadership ability

Education and/or Experience

  • BS/BA min level of education required, MBA preferred

  • 5 years + in Sales director role

  • Ability to work long days, nights and weekends as needed.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Firefox, CRM, PeopleSoft and specific software programs used by Blink Network

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional travel, weekend and/or evening work.
