How do I find Blink Charging's EV charging stations?

You can locate and view the real-time status (available, in-use, etc.) of EV charging stations on Blink Network on the BlinkMap or with our Blink Mobile application, which is available for iOS and Android devices. You can also initiate and view the status of your charging session on the Blink Mobile app. We also own and operate EV chargers on other EV charging networks, including ChargePoint, GE, and SemaConnect.

What type of EV charging is offered?

We offer Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations, which provide a maximum of 240 volts with 80 amps of power to quickly recharge an EV battery, as well as DC Fast charging stations (DCFC), which are compatible with some electric cars and provide a rapid charge.  Additionally, some of our Level 2 EV chargers provide an additional port for Level 1 charging, which provides 120 volts.

What's the difference between Level 2 and DC Fast Chargers?

Level 2 charging is the most common EV charging type and is compatible with all electric vehicles sold in the United States. DC Fast Chargers offer a faster charge than Level 2 charging, but it is not compatible with all electric vehicles. For more information, visit our EV Charging Equipment page.

Do I have to be a member to use the EV charging stations on Blink Network?

Membership is not required. Anyone can charge at a public EV charger on the Blink Network. If you are not a Blink member, payment can be made using a Blink Guest Code, which can be provided via www.BlinkCode.com, Blink Mobile app, or by contacting Blink Customer Support (888-998-2546). However, becoming a Blink Member has its advantages.

As a Blink member, electric car drivers typically enjoy discounted fees at thousands of the public EV charging stations on the Blink Network across the country. Blink Memberships are free, have no annual fee, and you can receive a free Blink InCard as well. Blink Members also do not have to make a deposit to their Blink account. To keep things simple, we process payments for EV charging sessions on Blink Network twice a month (the 15th and the last day of each month), unless you reach a balance of $100. In that case, payments are processed immediately.

Are there any fees to become a member?

Becoming a Blink Member is free, but please be advised that in order to create a Blink Member account or Blink Guest code, a $1.00 or $5.00 authorization fee will display on the credit card account provided. This is for authorization purposes only. Fees will not actually be charged to your account until you use a station.

How much time does it take to charge an EV?

The length of time necessary to charge an EV depends on various factors, including the rate at which the car charges, the type of charging utilized, and the power provided. For example, a full charge at a Level 2 EV charger can take a few to several hours to complete while a DC Fast Charger can typically charge a Nissan LEAF to 80% in less than 30 minutes.

Who should I contact if I need help or have questions?

Customer Support for Blink Network is available at (888) 998-2546 or support@blinknetwork.com. For assistance with our EV charging stations on other EV charging networks (ChargePoint, GE, and SemaConnect), please contact Customer Support via the phone number listed on the EV charger or (855) 521-2244.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds for fees that are determined to be erroneous will be made to a user’s payment method or Blink member account if the user is assessed for EV charger usage on the Blink Network that has not taken place and the user is able to reasonably prove that this usage has not taken place within 45 days of the charge event.  If a member disputes a credit card charge directly with their credit card company, their Blink Membership account will be suspended for the period of the dispute, unless the dispute is tied to a claim for an erroneous fee for usage on the Blink Network that has been proven by the user and accepted by Blink Charging. Credit balances will not be refunded.

Who do I contact with EZ-Charge or No Charge to Charge questions?

For questions about EZ-Charge or Nissan's "No Charge to Charge" program, please visit the EZ-Charge website.

Any charging sessions on Blink Network that do not utilize the EZ Charge card and/or utilize non-participating NCTC stations will not be eligible for NCTC benefits (please note that activating an EV charging session via Blink Code or remote start in the Blink Mobile app will not provide NCTC benefits even if using a NCTC eligible station).
