About the Opportunity

Blink Charging operates a network of electric vehicle automotive charging stations primarily located in the United States.  

Job Summary:

Our ideal RVP leads and manages all sales operations and oversees activities of the sales team and other staff members. The key objective of the RVP is to achieve sustainable sales growth through current and new customers. The RVP will also be responsible for reducing customer turnover. As the RVP you will have the opportunity to be our first impression on all prospective clients in the market. You will open doors to all of our target clients, meaningfully filling the top of the Sales funnel, with a competitive drive to succeed. All major metro markets in the Central Region will be your primary focus. 

The RVP builds and manages all aspects of a regional sales department. The RVP also works closely with the following departments: Customer Support, Finance, Marketing, and other sales teams for the purpose of ensuring the delivery of first-class delivery experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ability to play a strategic role in building creative sales strategies that are focused on consumer satisfaction and revenue generation for the business. 

  • Creates goals that comply with the attainment of the business’s overall objectives and strives to meet and exceed these goals.

  •  Ability to conduct reviews on the existent sales department strategies and weighs them against results in order to identify areas of improvement. 

  • Creates comprehensive and compelling strategic proposals that challenge the status-quo and convince senior sales management with crystal clear added-value.

  • Analytical ability in conducting research and performing analyses on the performance of the sales department ensuring prompt delivery and accuracy of daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to senior management. This is for the purpose of identifying areas of improvement in the business’s marketing strategies, identifying opportunities, and understanding the market and competitive environment.

 

  • Ability to achieve optimal performance, leading to financial benefit for the business. The RVP tracks sales activities and creates reports that he presents to the VP Sales and senior management for use in strategic decision making.

  • Represent the business beyond the sales department. The RVP participates in tradeshows, sales workshops, sales seminars, and events on behalf of the business. This is for the purpose of collecting qualified leads and pertinent sales information as well as keeping up with market trends in order to ensure that the business does not lag behind of other players.

  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of relationships on behalf of the sales department and the business as a whole.

  •  Develops and builds relationships and partnerships by being attentive, service-oriented, friendly, helpful, and courteous to customers, colleagues, external partners, and so forth.

  • Stays up-to-date with industry best practices and standards through attending events and seminars, attending individual and group training programs, and reading industry publications and newsletters.

  • Ability to collaborative role, partnering up with the intercompany departments,  with the marketing department in ensuring that strategies and objectives are aligned, ensuring that marketing initiatives support sales efforts and that these strategies are all aligned to the business’s overall objectives. and works closely with senior sales management in the creation of new sales strategies and approaches.

  • Frequently holding meetings within the given territory to boost profit and develop relationships with customers. Intensive market research with focus on expanding the company's customer base and identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

    • Managing the entire sales process with analysis of competitors and business intelligence activities.

    • Individual gross profit/traffic responsibility from new account acquisition

    • Regular and timely updates of progress/active accounts on CRM

    • Supporting staff in developing new joiners/ providing shadow onsite development opportunities

Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs.

  • Proficient in CRM (Dynamics), Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Firefox, specific software programs used by Blink Network

  • Ability to travel at least 20-40% of the time

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in Communications, Business Administration, Business Management, or any other related field. An equivalent of this requirement in working experience is also acceptable. 

  • 5 to 10 + years in a sales position within a complex and fast-paced business environment, preferably as a Sales Manager. experience in B2B Sales Development or Lead Generation roles experience in sales research and how raw information and data is processed to become useful insights that assist the sales department in establishing appropriate strategies that lead to the achievement of goals and targets

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional travel, weekend and/or evening work.
