Marketing And Content Writer

Job Summary:

The Marketing and Content Writer is responsible for the creation of compelling blog posts, white papers, product descriptions, social media content and web copy to aid in the marketing, promotions, and sales of Blink products. We’re looking for someone who will help us expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content as well as help the Blink brand by issuing press releases of company updates and news. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement and drive leads.

The Blink Marketing and Content Writer will be able to write for diverse audiences from the media to investors to Blink members or to sales prospects varying writing style, tone and intent accordingly. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better content. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines. The Marketing and Content Writer will need to be flexible and remain focused in an environment with shifting priorities. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio, bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience.


Public Relations Strategy Execution

  • Assist in the execution of comprehensive global public relations, social media, and communications strategies, ensuring that Blink messaging is disseminated consistently, promptly and accurately.

  • Write engaging and provocative press releases and prepare information for media kits and maintain company website’s News and Blog sections.

  • Maintain list of press and industry contacts for news and corporate update distribution.


Writing Marketing Content

  • Assist in writing new copy for the company’s website

  • Write engaging web and social media content and maintain the company website copy and updates to its blog sections.

  • Work with the social media to assist in writing social media copy and distribution of website content via social media

  • Write compelling email marketing copy to drive interest in the Blink family of products.

  • Working closely with the company’s Sales team; aid in the creation of appropriate sales tools, sales materials and presentations through written copy.

  • Assist in writing marketing literature including direct mail pieces, sales presentations, brochures, flyers, etc.



  • Exceptional written skills are required.

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; this included the ability to build relationships both externally and internally (i.e. working as part of a cross functional team including sales, legal, operations, HR, IT).

  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels

  • Ability to work independently within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage multiple projects.

  • Knowledge of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure is beneficial

  • Min 4 years’ experience writing, preferably for a variety of marketing applications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or related field

​Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional travel, weekend and/or evening work.
